Anthony Nogueras, CEO of Alliance Drawback Services, founded Alliance in 2001 following 12 years’ experience in the international logistics industry as a drawback specialist.
Alliance specializes in the implementation and management of duty drawback recovery programs. Alliance provides drawback services for clients in many industries including the largest orange juice producer on the West Coast, the number one importer of beer into the US, as well as some of the nation's larger chemical and petrochemical companies.
Previously, Mr. Nogueras managed the drawback operations of a billion-dollar multi-national freight forwarding and import brokerage concern. In this position, he was responsible for 4 regional offices, over forty employees, and over $50 million in annual drawback recoveries.
Mr. Nogueras brings drawback experience in a variety of industries including electronics, steel, petrochemicals, titanium, and excise tax drawback on wine and beer. He has developed and presented over 100 duty drawback seminars to potential drawback filers and industry trade groups in addition to being published in numerous trade industry publications including The Journal of Commerce. He graduated with high honors from San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations. He is also a Licensed Customs Broker.
