CBP continues to update the responsibilities of licensed customs brokerage persons with the
update to CFR title 19 part 111. Continuing education credits is on the horizon and introduced in
draft discussions that will result in the requirement of expanded informed compliance training for
licensed individuals to demonstrate that they remain aware of current rules, regulations, and
processes that their license represents as an industry expert.
