Customs Valuation Controls & Compliance Management
|
- One
Day Class
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection is now placing more emphasis on post entry enforcement of CBP rules and regulations associated with the import customs entry information. Importers cannot rely on common practices of import valuation determinations to merely reflect the commercial invoice value without an internal control compliance management structure in place. Most importers are not aware of the critical regulatory requirements that must be met to demonstrate reasonable care in the entry declaration of imported values. This class will define and explain the complex customs valuation issues that face importers inclusive of Royalties, Retroactive Price Adjustments, Discounts, Buying and Selling Commissions, Assist Values, sample shipments, no sale transactions, related property transactions, and entry options to avoid unnecessary duties taxes and fees.
|
Free Trade Agreements
